2016 RHGC Ryder Cup Tournament - RESULTS

Dear RHGC Member,

We have just concluded our 2016 RHGC Ryder Cup Tournament and happy to report that Team USA have (finally) won:

USA 54.5  vs.  ROW 42.5

2011 was the last time Team USA has hoisted the RHGC Ryder Cup. 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 have all been ROW wins. Congratulations Team USA! Job well done!

I also wanted to congratulate Ed Devlin and Michael Henry for putting together a very balanced set of matches. Most mathes went all the way to the 17th and 18th holes. We all have our own stories of "Epic Battles" to remember for a long time. This is why this Ryder Cup Tournament has always been one of the best tournament in our calendar.

2016 Saudi National Day Tournament - RESULTS Dear RHGC Member, Thank you for your participation in this year's Saudi National Day. It was a wonderful day for golf with so many of you in Saudi Green.  I hope you all enjoyed the opportunity to play with friends and love ones and enjoyed a sumptuous Arabic meal. Here are the results;

2016 Eid Al Adha Eclectic - RESULTS Ladies and Gentlemen, With 118 rounds from 34 participants, I am happy to announce the results of this year's Eid Al Adha Eclectic Tournament;  

2016 September Bi-Monthly Medal - RESULTS Dear RHGC Members, Worst playing weather conditions ever! high humidity and heat got the better out of 16 other participants. It was not pleasant out there! Nevertheless, some of us finished 18 holes of golf and could not wait to get into the clubhouse to cool down.

2016 August Bi-Monthly Medal STABLEFORD - Results Dear RHGC Member, Argh! What a weekend to play golf. Saturday was a bit better with overcast clouds and it really didn’t get hot not till 11:00AM. Just a few things to note; great rounds by Reid, Mubarak and Kenny with gross scores of 73, 75, 77 respectively; congrats to the McGrath boys for winning at their respective flights; and Karam Chand, welcome to the winners circle. I’m sure we will see more of you in the future.

2016 July Bi-Monthly Medal Results Announcement

Congratulations to Mubarak Al-Ghamdi for shooting the low gross of 78 beating Reid Perry on the countback. Congratulations as well to Tom Harneshaug for shooting a net 64! Friday was definitely the better of the two days over the weekend but it didn’t matter for folks like Patrick Antony and Hakseon Kim. The rest of the winners were rounds played on Friday.

As we continue on our summer months, please always hydrate yourself before and during your round. If you plan to go out on your repatriation, remember to sign-up on the upcoming tournaments; August Bi-Monthly Stableford, September Bi-Monthly Medal, Eid Eclectic and RYDER CUP! Sign-up start July 17, 2016.

2016 June Bi-Monthly Stableford - RESULTS Dear RHGC member, Here we are, one of the hottest months in the calendar and unfortunately, we still have July and August ahead of us – argh! Nevertheless, with 100 brave souls playing over the weekend, I’m happy to announce the winners from this Month’s Bi-Monthly Stableford Tournament. It looks like Rod Kraynyk is on a roll earning top gross points at 33 and Jaeil Lee earning top net points at 40. Good shooting gentlemen and hope you find these conditions favorable because it feels like an oven out there.

2016 RHGC Anniversary Tournament - RESULTS

Dear RHGC Member,

We’ve just completed our 2016 Anniversary Tournament and it was a pleasure to see you all again. I hope you all enjoyed this organized ”fun” tournament as this will be the last one till September. As we welcome Ramadan and go into the summer months of July and August, I wanted to wish you all Ramadan Karem and an enjoyable summer. We have Eid Eclectic in July and September and OPEN Play monthly Stableford and Medal for the months of June, July and August. Don’t forget to register for these events.

Congratulations to all TEAM Winners in our Anniversary Tournament. I heard some loud cheers in the morning round which hopefully were long putts and birdies.
