Instructions to Register for a Tee Time on the Portal
Below are instructions for the player to register for tee times on the portal using Open Tee Times.
When accessing the portal, your manager may allow you to register and select your tee time for a round. This feature is called "Open Tee Times". Below are brief instructions on how to do this.
How the Players can register for Tee Times:
Selecting tee times is very easy. Once the manager opens signups for a round, the player can navigate to the Open Tee Times page on the portal. To access the portal click here
The page will display the current slots and registered players down below. Above, the player will select his/her name from the list (They may or may not be required to answer a question to verify themselves). In the screenshot above, they may see the option to register another golfer or register a guest, depending on what the manager has set up.
The player should then click "Select" for the desired tee time. After selecting the tee time, the player will be able to change the current tee time or cancel their tee time by going to this portal page. They may also have the ability to register a member/guest, depending on what the manager set up.
(Note: If multiple players can be added to the tee sheet, we implement a concept of "locking the slots". When a registrant selects a tee time, we lock a certain number of slots in that tee time for the registrant. For instance, if the registrant can register up to 3 total players, then we will lock that number of slots (if still available in that tee time). Keep in mind that the registrants will lose their "locked slots" after 10 minutes of inactivity.)
After registering, the player will get an automated email confirming their tee time, players in the group, date, and round name.
