2015 OASIS Cup RESULTS
Congratulations Rolling Hills Golf Club!
After two days of competition, RHGC has won the OASIS Cup for both Men's and Women's competition. The competition was intense with most matches being decided on the 17th and 18th hole. The first day format was Match Play 2 Person Better Ball competition. By end of Day 1, RHGC Men's Team was on the lead 13 1/2 v. 3 1/2, Ladies 1 1/2 v. 2 1/2.
The second day competition were singles Match Play with RHGC winning convincingly with the score of 22 v 8 for Men. The Ladies tied at 3 1/2/ v. 3 1/2.
The following players won the Nearest to the Pin competition;
Hole # 4 Tamara Tahir (RHGC) 100SR Voucher
Hole # 8 Stuart Walker (Dirab) 100SR Voucher
Hole # 11 Ali Belhareth (Dirab) 100SR Voucher
Hole # 14 Spence Hawthorn (Dirab) 100SR Voucher
In the spirit of comradery, we thank Dirab Golf Club and Mr. Bouchaib for making this event a memorable one. Mr. Bouchaib himself scored a record 5 under 67 (White tees) leading the charge for Dirab. But the RHGC Team proved to be a tough and recilient team.
Thank you to all RHGC members that participated in this yearly event. Great work Tamara transforming our Clubhouse to a couzy, comfortable and beautiful awards venue. Special Thanks to Minhaj Khan for championing this event and re-starting this friendly competition between the two clubs.
