Rolling Hills Golf Club Wins the OASIS Cup!
The OASIS Cup is a yearly tournament wherein Rollings Hills Golf Club and Dirab Golf and Country Club exchanges venue and play Ryder Cup matches in two days. It was RHGC's turn to host and after two days of competition, RHGC was victorious in winning the OASIS Cup 41.5 vs. 14.5. Of course the familiarity of the course and the local knowledge of the greens were the deciding factors. The teams were evenly matched with Four Ball Match Play format being played on Day 1 and Singles Match Play on Day 2.
I wanted to say "Thank You" to all participants including our Dirab friends who drove all the way from Riyadh to enjoy 2 days of competition in Dhahran. Special thanks to Captains Minhaj Khan and to Bouchaib El Jadaini who continues to support this competition in support of promoting golf in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We hope to continue this event in many more years to come.
